i block and head from car that had bad headgasket. so i have no idea what needs to be done to fix it. Cause when they over heat all teh seals go bad. so cant i put new rings in and then get new main bearings and seals and be good. an dthen see if teh ead has warpage. if not redue teh valves and seals and be good right.

well basically i would hone cylinders new rings ( hell while your in there nicer piston/rods?) new main seal new crank bearings new rod bearings. then a head gasket. now for the head get it checked out for warpage. ( maybe a port and polish while it's at the shop) check check out all the vavles/ seals if anything look hurt replace em i would sugest just getting a nice set of valves while the head's off. then timing belt water pump also good head studs apr? that should be it
