Hey all, i bought a bunch of parts from a friend, one of which was a D15B6 block from a 89 CRX HF. Looking at some of the part numbers and compairing those numbers to a CRX DX (D15B2) the pistons (duh, it's a 8 valve motor
), rods and crank have different numbers. Does this mean the rod lenghts and such are different? I don't have the abillity to drop the motor in my 91 Civic Std. (D15B2) and take it apart to compair sizes. Here's some pics:

edit: sorry for the clutter behind the pistons, rebuilding like 3 turbos and my motor building station dosent have enough light for taking pics

I know as far as the blocks are concerned, they are the same.. The hf and dx cranks have the same size mains but not the same size rod journals..
Not sure about the rod length..

Are you looking for d15b2 pistons, rods, and a crank to put into your d15b6 block.. If so let me know, I have all of them cleaned up sitting in my room that I will let go cheap..
