Default What muffler to use?

I of now have a n1 axle back for my hatchback. I am soon going to change to a stock style muffler for quiter sound. I am looking at a magnaflow ovel muffler. I was wondering what you guys use and what you guys reccomend. SOme people i know use 2000 body style mitsubishi eclipse stock mufflers. I am wanting something that has a 2.5 or 2 1/4 inch inlent and outlet with at least a 2.5inch core. I Dont want the bling but let me know what you got or what you reccomend. Pics would be great also... thanks

any help is appreciated.

use the dc5 or new crv stocker if you want the sleeper factor..

but for sound dampering, get a bigger resonator

dc5 is the rsx, and im not 100% sure but i think they have a chambered muffler, youd rather have a straight through muffler, or at least i would, im getting ready to get the magnaflow oval muffler, i like it bc it looks pretty stock, but as far as loudness goes, you can get a longer resonator to take care of that problem, try out kteller.com, they have the mufflers and resonators

A magnaflow with a big can will be quieter than the N1 you've got now . . . available in all sorts of sizes, shapes, and inlet/outlet diameters. Check out http://www.justmagnaflow.com for good prices & free shipping over $50.

I got an Apexi World Sport II cat back this year and the car is really quiet. At several autocrosses I have been asked if the car is running when waiting on the line. Good size pipes and mandrel bent. The power feels good, can't prove it though.

Just go with magnaflow. Get the non polished one and paint it so that it would be protected and concealed more. That's what I plan to do.
