Hey, I just overhauled my engine. Just started driving the car today and I just noticed that after a while, the engine is making weird noise. Basically it's like when someone runs really fast and they're loosing breath. Thats what the engine is doing. Anyone has any idea?
Also, I installed a Victor X IM and my intake isn't connected yet. Could that be the problem??? Please someone help.l Thanx

 

your intake isnt connected yet? what do you mean, you just have a filter on the manifold? if so then thats the noise youre hearing....otherwise id say you might have a vacuum leak

No, no filter at all....nothing........my intake wouldnt fit cause I had to move the ABS unit in more to fit the JDM HID headlights....but I can put that back today to see what happens......but when I start the engine in the morning, it's like, the engine is breathing in and out hard.......until it warms up??

Let me see if it helps after hooking up the intake, oh and also, one of the studs is missing on the exhaust manifold.....I'm gonna pick one of up from the dealer also
