Default We have a problem

My friend has an Ls/Vtec motor boosted in a 98 hatch. Just did the swap. We are getting fire and the gas is getting to the motor. The compression is reading 20s and 30s across the board. The block is built to the "T". When trying to turn it over the car won't start and the fuel pressure guage drops down to 0. What could the problem be?

Compression readings are 20's and 30's??? As in 20-30 psi?? I don't see how you could be getting fuel, but the fuel pressure gauge reads 0. Unless the fuel pressure guage isn't working properly. If that is true of the compression readings, then your friend needs to re-do his motor.
