ways to increase compression on my d16y8
I got toasted last night by someone running a 'mini-me' setup. the dude said his y7 block + y8 head yields more torque in higher revs than my stock y8 because of the higher compression ratio.
from what I understand, one way to increase compression in an engine is to bore the cylinder heads and get oversized pistons. is this the only route? and if it is, what specifically is involved? does this also increase displacement?
any help/info/experiences would be appreciated.. lates!!!

Ways to increase compression is to get higher compression pistons, or a thinner head gasket.
