Default Can you calculate my new compression ratio after getting my head milled?

I had 8.5:1 compression. I had my head milled with 0.010 removed.

Can any one estimate what my new compression is?

Which motor is it? That is important. That milling should bump comprssion up 0.1-0.2 points

Z6 block with Y8 head, my Arias pistons give me 8.5:1 compression ratio with that head/block combo.

So with the head milled 0.010 over, then my final compression is.....................................?

.010 is equivalent to about .2-.3 points of compression. So you are at about 8.8:1

Just curious, not trying to start anything. Why did you get low CR pistons and then get your head milled to raise the compression?

Probably turboing the motor and needed the head milled due to warpage?

I blew the damn motor and damaged the head. Put it back together, realized this afterwords. Its winter here, so I have the car in peices. The head is not ready to go back on.
