Default Mini-me compression ratio?

If I put a Y8 head on a Y7 block, what is the new compression ratio? Also, what is stock for the Y8? Anyone mill this combo before? How high did you raise the comp. ratio?

Thanks....with that calculator it comes up with: 10.23:1 Comp ratio....that seems high to me...or am I doing it wrong? (D16Y7 block and D16Y8 head) Is that an ok CR to run an a daily driver? I hate to sound stupid It's just that I've never delt with internals or head swapping before....I've always jsu swapped the whole engine or tranny....

Y8 head with Y7 block will be like 9.0:1, stock Y8 compression is 9.6:1 and the Y7 has an even greater dish in the pistons.

A stock Type R is 10.2:1, so you WILL be fine. But you do need to keep in mind you have a much older motor.

I dont know. Actually I think it will be less...On that site it doesnt have the CC's for the Y7 pistons dish. But, with d16z6 pistons compression is 8.9:1, and the dish on the Y7 pistons is .32mm larger than the Z6 pistons

I originaly put in 75 and 84.5....should have put in 75 and 90. Thats why it was higher. I had the wrong info. Now it says 10.83:1....but that with the PM3 pistons....T get the exact amount I need the CC's for the P2E pistons, which http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm doesn't give me......I got a different number for the same swap here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=69052710.63:1...damimit, what does this have to be so hard
