ok, so i have a ek coupe with a type r swap w/lsd....when this motor was put it it ran super great....strong all the way up ...and when vtech engaged at 6k rpms , you knew it.....but now..it just kinda eases it in there....before i had no question that it was fsater than my 08 si, but now, i think my fit could run it down...lol...well not that bad, but it deffinatly isnt what it was,.....the only things i have done in the past few weeks are, an oil change..., and my wife accidently put 87 octane in it not once but twice...and i also noticed that the dash lights are kinda fluttering at night at any rpm....i think the voltage regulator is getting ready to go.....any ideas guys???

do you have a known good alternator you can swap it out with?

 

have you tried charging the phone?

 

Slap a Type R sticker and bam VTEC in the house.
