ok, so i have a 98 coupe, i did a type r swap with lsd, it was very strong and pulled great.....for about 4 or 5 weeks or so...now the only thing is when vtech engages...it doesnt feel half as powerful as it once was..when it hit 6k rpms you knew it....now it feels like a d series when vtech hits.....the only things i have done..was change the oil.....and i ran a tank of 87 octane cause the gas station i was at was out of everything else....i also have noticed that i think my alternator needs a rebild....i have notcied that the voltage output must be week cause at night my dash lights are a little dimmer until you rev it up but it actually comes and goes at any rpm.....anyone ever experience this? any suggestions?.....

and no i dont have a C.E.L. on .........

yes. ive experienced it before. it resulted it was my alternator. my headlights and including dashboard were getting dimmer. everytime i turned them off. everything got to normal.
my best suggestion change the alternator.
