*edit* im just foolin, i know it has lift in there, thats why Toyota has the VVTL-i

I'm not all that smart, but I think I am sometimes. Here's what Honda named it:

Variable Valve Timing and Valve lift Electronic Control

I said you guys were close.
VTEC is alot easier than VVTVLEC. LOL

did **** you off it just lame cause this post is a "OOOO look at me im gona make all you look dumb" when you simply could have made a post saying this is what vtec really stands for.

and looking at it from a grammatical point of view the repitetion of valve is not need and most likly shouldn't be there since valve is already mentioned prior you know that is the subject matter

I'm not the one that named it. If you don't care what it stands for, fine. Someone asked at work and no one knew the answer, so we looked it up. I thought it would make a good topic, but it brought out some of the ******** instead.
