Actually, many who posted were 100% correct, as there is no second "Valve". Quoted <U>directly</U> from Honda's site (link is included below):

"Honda's race-bred VTEC® (variable valve timing and lift electronic control) helps the EX make an ample 127 horsepower and, in its lean-burn version, allows the 117-hp HX to get better mileage."

No I didn't did I. Thanks for posting the link. I have been corrected, though I still can't find it listed like that on anything in the shop. The only place I found it there is in the factory service manuals the first couple years after it came out. I wonder if all the ******** will be happy now.

I guess it just seemed like it at the time. It's hard to tell tone of voice on these things. However, you did bust out the "********" comment a couple times. That in itself is a little jerky.
