I own a 2000 civic si, b16a2, and lately my check engine light has been on, and my SI will not rev over 7 grand rpm. Ive even changed out solenoid, oil pressure sensor, and vtec valve. Its still not revving over 7, any suggestions on what the problem is? any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

what is the check engine light for?

ever think to check that before you started replacing stuff? basic troubleshooting man, dont throw parts at a problem that you dont know what the cause is.

 

i bet changing the whole engine will get rid of the cel...lol
