for some reason my vtec sputters. its like its cutting on and off when it enes. it sounds like its hiting a rev limiter but keeps accelerating. the first time i hit vtec after i start and warm it up vtec works fine then i try to engage it again and it starts sputtering . any ideas. checked the wiring. cleaned the solenoid. oil level is good. i let the car warm up. i really dont know . please help i have a b16 head with a gsr black p28 ecu

 

lean, p28 is a sohc v d series ecu not a b series

Yes, that should've been your first step. I hope you are atleast running some type of tune other than the stock civic one.

 

Off the subject, hey 95 Integra, I noticed that you had an Integra that was making that damn buzzing sound from the abs pump,,,,How did you fix that? or you didn't, I noticed that annoying sound after bleading the breaks and the ABS

 

yeah im running crome and a chipped p28. im going to get it tuned within the next few weeks and ill let u know if that fixed it

 

Been there before. I just happened to luck into one (after owning 10 or so) that doesnt buzz. As I recall (from about 8 years ago), when you bleed the abs it has a tendency to cause the big brown can to go bad....sadly, I believe it is a pita to replace (its under high pressure) and cost quite a bit of cash.
