I have a vtec solenoid that seems a bit peculiar to me. It doesn't have a threaded hole for my pressure switch. What do u think could be the reason for this? Is it an older style or something?

Someone help me out!!

No bid deal. Tee the vtec solenoid wire with the input wire for the vtec pressure switch wire.....D6 OBD1 or C15 OBD2a or C10 OBD2b = Input wire for Vtec pressure switch.
