Default HELP-----VTEC pressure valve????

heres the deal my brothers VTEC will not engage at all, this all coming after switching to K-series oil filter and we went to autozone and got the code -po 1 22-
some said its the VTEC pressure valve and my local shop said its the TPS.........

That's your Vtec oil pressure sensor going out. I had the same problem with my B16 head. You have two options:

1. Replace the sensor (if you're sure it's not working anymore.

2. Just ground out the oil pressure sensor wire. I did this my CEL code for it went away. It's easy and free, but just make sure you always have enough oil in your motor.
