This welder enough for mild exhaust work?

its gasless 80amp, just wondering if its strong enough to weld aluminized steel exhaust piping?

I didn't look at the link to the welder in question, but it doesn't take much of a welder to do exhaust pipe!
The reason for adding a post here is that there may be another problem that you will have.
I've personally found that it's difficult to weld on aluminized pipe due to the aluminum spreading the heat so fast that you tend to blow through the pipe. Others may not have a problem, but it's something to think about.

so you guys think 80amp fluxcore is sufficient for aluminized piping and other small garage projects like welding together a bottle rack?
This is just my opinion but I wouldn't use fluxcore to weld anything that I have to look at. Even if its under the car I still know its there and just the way fluxcore comes out looking even if you do it perfectly is enough to embarrass the hell out of me. I think if you picked up a lincoln 135 or 175 with a mig kit you'll be much happier with yourself.
Fluxcore can do the job but I could never be happy with the way it looks

if I go mig, Ill need the shielding gas right? Thats a bit too much hassle, I dont care how it looks, as long as it works. So a 120amp fluxcore would be more up my alley?
Fluxcore burns hotter for a given amperage. 120 amps will do the job, but it will smoke A LOT (don't weld in the garage with the door shut), and spatter hot metal everywhere.
With MIG, yes, you need a shielding gas. The weld quality is a ton better and you have more options in terms of what you can weld.
If you're on a budget, look into one of the Lincoln Weldpaks. They are fluxcore machines that have the option of a MIG upgrade further down the line. It's a nice way to get your foot in the door.
