Default Vtec pins stuck

I have a f22 vtec. Can I slide the pin, so the vtec rocker is used all the time?
I run on a 1/4 mile oval. After about 13 laps it sounds like I have valves floating.
With a loss in power. Any suggestions??
The vtec selinod has 1 wire. When we are going for the green I power it up, with a switch. I leave it on for the whole race(max.30laps).
Using non-vtec ecu.
Thanks

Could you be starving the car for oil? I thought that Crane made VTEC killer rockers that had a single rocker with a roller for the VTEC lobe.

you can pull the pins and flip them around to lock vtec. but if its floating, thats not ur problem. maybe springs/ retainers with that much abuse

I was thinking that the floating sound could be a result of the car dropping out of VTEC. The VTEC lobe could be floating against the LMA.

Yes. we run clockwise or counter clockwise, it is up to the offical at that time.
Turning left, it was doggy coming out of the corner. Turning right it is fine.
I added a 1/2 qt. of oil and it works great both ways now. Until about lap 13.
How had is it to reverse the pins?It sounds like valve float, but doudt it.
I think the selinoid is over heating. Ever heard of that?

Does the problem go away after a restart? Is you oil level dropping during the race? What weight oil are you running? (The viscosity could be thinning due to heat.)

Come to think of it, I think it only happens when we go caution free.
I use Castrol 20w50. This week I am going to **** off the switch during
cautions. For qualifing, I will be close to a new track record.
After I put in a Phantom Grip. What about the pins? Is it hard?

it easy to flip the pins, remove the rocker assembly, pull out the pins, and install them in the opposite side they came out of

Do you know the torque spec for the rocker assembly?
Thanks

Flip the pins. I did that. It only engages the first two. Can I "some how"
take the spring out of the third, and put a slightly heavier spring in the first?
Thanks reply ASAP
