f22a1 head with out vtec...
f22b2 head with vtec...

what should i do here guys swamp the f22b onto my block and run a vtec controller or should i try to tap and drill vtec into the h22a1?

no flaming please and ill put up picks in a few

 

I think tapping and drilling VTEC would be awesome!

 

going from d15b2 to f22a1 is a large power gain lol cant wait to see what vtec does.... hope it isnt a let down.

Plus 1, its not everyday someone can tap and drill vtec

 

doesn't the f22a1 head have the holes and ect. for vtec it just has to go in and have oil plugs removed? Or is it more complex then that? and wire it into ECU swaping alot of plugs for and accord ECU.

 

wish i knew what drilling and tapping vtec means. It sounds like someone sayind vtech. hahaha something that is not correct. Enlighten me someone?!

 

Don't some of the Honda heads have the oil orfices for VTEC cast in the head but not machined through? That's my best interpretation. I dont think popping some 1/4-20UNC holes through the head will add VTEC(h) though.
