its a lsv.... it has oil pressure and the solonoid works fine.... the solonoid is getting power but still not engaging... the screens are squeeky clean... any help would be mint...also no check engine lights


i also checked to see if the pins are in the rockers and they are....
so now my only thought is that there is a oil passage that is clogged that is feeding the rockers.... do they get fed threw rocker arm rods??? please help

do u happen to have a conversion harness on it? Yea no one wants to help out on this site

 

yah i have the conversion harness tis is like my 4th swap and im deff far from a noob all the basic stuff have been checked.. the pressure switch is new the solinoid works and is getting 12v at set rpm and i have 65psi oil pressure at 3500rpm...

 

the reason i asked about the conv. harness is b/c sumtimes the wires will pull out of it. It happend to my harness and had to have sumone sauder the pins back in. The only thing mine was doing is what yours is, everything was fine but v-tec wouldnt work

 

if it was un pluged you would have gotten a check engine light

thats it if you have all that thats all you need

 

its working now... it had some nasty sludge in the bottom of the fresh oil pan on a fresh build....?????? dont know how thats possible
