VTEC need major help, crazy problem !!!
I installed the vtec wiring for my b16 swap to a CX hatch. I have a p28 chipped ecu like everyone. (4400 vtec 9100 redline)... HERE IS THE QUESTION .... The ecu was previously chipped to different specs, so I bought the 4400 vtec chip, but it doesn't kick in until 6100 RPM !!!!!!!!!!!! WTF ??? I only swaped the large eprom chip and left everything else...was I to swap the smaller 20 prong chip too..or what or did the guy lie about the settings of the chip ????????
