Ive got VTEC wired up but it is still not engaging. I have a chipped PM6 and have enriched the fuel over vtec crossover. The vtec selenoid works, i can hear it click when i test it with 12v+, but it is not engaging when driving.

i have also tried manually wiring in a push button and it would not engage either.

That being said, when using a RPM switch are you supposed to do anything with the VTEC oil pressure switch?

What motor are you using? Is it a mini-me or a factory vtec engine? What makes you think that its not kicking in?

When your using the rpm switch to engauge vtec you dont need to do anything with the pressure switch..

 

its a d16z6, i cannot hear it engage, and the car also doesnt seem to produce much power past 5000 rpms.

 

I am running it N/A right now before i put the turbo on it, with a stock exhaust and an intake, i think i should be able to hear it

 

i have a b16 and my vtec solenoid is thorwing a code, but vtec still kicks in, anybody know what could be going on???
