how to remove fuel pump.?
i put some bad fuel into my tank and i'd like to take it out. problem is my gas tank does not have a drain bolt so i have to remove the fuel pump on top to gain access to the inside. the only thing in my way now is the fuel pump/tank cap atop the tank.
its about 5 inches in diameter with 69lbs ft of torque. honda has a specific tool for this but i don't exactly have a means of driving there right now, and borrowing it wouldn't seem likely.
has anyone else removed it before without the tool? i'd really appreciate any feedback. thanks.

i tried siphoning it out through the regular fuel hole but the hose won't penetrate through to the tank. i can feel a metal obstruction when i try to force it..
finally! i got it off and siphoned out the bad fuel(diesel, i know i'm an oxymoron). i put in injector cleaner and regular fuel but now the motor will only crank not start. it started yesterday when i was troubleshooting it.. anyone know if i just need to keep cranking it?
