Default VTEC isnt engaging and speedometer doesnt work properly?

Yet I got a knock sensor circuit failure code and my electronic power steering isnt working.

Am I have electrical problems due to bad grounding? I recently had the clutch replace and maybe something happened there. The mechanic moved away a few months ago and the car has been in storage.

Any CEL will put ecu in closed loop and disengage the vtec mechanism. And VSS is one of the conditions for vtec activation. Fix the code first, then go from there. GL
