I have a 96 civic ex coupe with a ls-vtec. There is no check engine light but the vtec does not work. There is a obd2 to obd1 jumper made by skunk2. I try a jdm obd2 ecu and the same thing happens. the head is a 99 civic si so I think the cams are 99 si also. I have swaped the vtec sol. and oil press. and nothing happen. I have also hook the vtec on a 12v switch and the same happens. car runs fine. oil press. switch has 12v and vtec sol. has continuity. any info will help. THanks

 

I have the same extact problem right now I have treid everthing but vtec wont engage. I treid everthing oil pressure wiring you name I treid I cant figure it out.
