I bought an engine set - JDM B16A M/T and it came w/ some after market stuffs. One of which was a VTEC controller that Im trying to find some info on. Im at work at the moment so I cant check on any s/n numbers on the back or anything but here is a quick pic I took. Anyone know where I can find a manual for this? Or any info?

sorry never seen it in my life..must be some jdm part that isnt here in US or other countries...but it looks interesting

 

thing about vtec controllers like that it doesnt change timing or anything just vtec set points.. get it chipped and then have fun

 

I kinda thought this might the answer - lol. Its got a stop watch on it too - lol. I guess its some sorta early JDM G-tech or something. O well. The motor came w/ a Spoon ECU too so it should be quick if I can get the dang thing to start up.

 

wow I just noticed that you are from Havelock NC man. I had some friends stationed up at Cherry Point for a few years.

 

I do like the image of the tree in the reflection... is that jdm too?

 

Yah I had the trees imported with the motor set. Kinda gives an all around JDM experience this way.

there's no point in having a VTEC controller really unless your car is really modified and if it is then you should have some better form of engine mangement anyway IMO...
