Default Vtec

I have a d16z6 engine in my eg civic UK car. It has a custom chip in the ecu and the change over point is 5200 is this too high. does any one have experience over the best change over point. will i be lossing much time when dragging with a high change over point.

on that engine, yea i would say 5200 is a little high.
i would leave it stock. your not gonna eek much more power from moving the vtec changeover

stock unless you have unlisted modifications. honda engineers put it where it is for a reason.
