Ok...
We swapped a SiR-G B18C into my friends DC2_LS a couple weekends ago. today I was doing some work on it and I noticed there was a large bolt wedged near the VSS. so, like a good boy scout that I am, I spent the necessary time to knock back in its place and get it torqued down. in doing so, I decided to remove the VSS, however I didnt do so with the one bolt in the rear to remove it from the housing. I took the two upper 10mm nut/screws out and took the top plastic peice of the VSS out. I had to buy myself a couple inches to get my tool in there and get on that 17mm rear engine bracket. now I get the all typical no VTEC, 17 CEL (OBD1 P72J) and the speedo is dead. anyone have any input as to solving this issue besides the obvious which would be replacement? what does one go for?
thanks...
Mike
