i am putting a 95 gsr tranny in my crx and i need to change the vss..i have a b16 cable tranny and want to kno if i can take the vss off that and stick it on my gsr tranny..it fits but will it cause any problems??i compared the two and they are pretty much the same, just small differences

It should work. I've swapped VSS on different trannies and they seem to be pretty standard.

yes your b16 cable tranny VSS will work in your GSR

at this very moment i have a Civic CX VSS in my 93 GSR YS1 that was originally equipped with a cable/drive style VSS

honda uses the same VSS design for all b series and d series

 

ok sorry to bring this back to life but i have a 2000 itr hydro trans in my gsr/crx , what vss can i use i dont have one?

 

92-2000 are all the same dimensions
