sorry for the OT, but didnt know where to put this.
Just interesting to hear about the Volvo B-series motors. Has anyone read about this before? I read about this a few years ago, but just thought came across it again recently Its interesting since the displacements are similar to the Honda B-series but just different stroke and bore sizes. I believe all 80mm stroke but just different bore sizes.
oh BTW, these motors came out in the 50s to 60s i believe.

They're the upright motor series. The B naming series comes from B = Benzin (Gasoline) and D= Diesel
Newer slanted ones are B200, B230, etc etc.
I have a B6304F Which is a inline 6 cyl :-)
Oh and the engines are newer than 60's, some were used in alot of the volvo series cars.
