Default Engine questions

I would think this would make sense, but i would like to ask anyway.

Do all internals out of the same series work together? example:

would d15 crank go in d16, d17

or B series pistons fit B16, B18, B20

i have been searching for a frankenstien engine setup that would result in high compression, because i know some B series rods are longer than other ones.

What are the most popular engine set ups people build for high compression or boost?

Default Re: Engine questions (hondatm)

No this is not true.

B series pistons are not interchangeable.

A b16 has 81mm bore (I think)

A B20 has an 84mm bore I know that for sure.

This is one way displacment is made. Also B16 and B18 cranks are not interchangable. The b18 ls and a B20 are the same. Im not really sure about the D series motors, but make sure you find out before you start swapping stuff out.
