Im thinking about painting my EJ1 but have a few questions first. I have a little bit of experience spraying as of now, having painted my motorcycle fairings before (will paint another set before my car = more practice), but have never tried with a car. What I want to know is, typically, how much primer, basecoat, and clear (after being mixed w/ reducer, hardener) will I need to paint my civic?

The car is black but the paint is looking pretty tired so Im wanting to re-spray it.

wouldn’t it be best to ask perhaps a friendly body shop?

 

Ya, ill try that. Just wondering if anyone online would have any insight.
