Default Very important question!!!! maybe...

When I am putting on my timing belt for a SOHC. Which way do i turn the crank to line to TDC...clockwise or counter clockwise i heard both...which is right??? What will happen if you turn it the wrong way to line it up to TDC??

Turn it counterclockwise, that is the way the engine normally turns. If you turn it clockwise you may have problems not being able to properly put tension on the belt.
