Default valve spring question

I'm putting 2000 ITR cams in my b16a1.

for the valve springs. i've heard that i can put my stock intake springs on the exhaust side and buy new intake springs.

so should i move the stock outers to the exhaust and buy portflow inners.
or
buy all 16 ITR outers and portflow inners.

TIA

move the intake side outter over and get port flow inners. id stick with stock retainers, urs from the b16 will do fine cause they are the same as the itr ones. i wish i had left mine in when i did my skunk 2 valvetrain, the coincidental breaking stories that all of a sudden popped up kinda freak me out.

i'm using gsr retainers. i already bought them.. i heard you can't use stock b16 because the exhaust side aren't dual spring and the retainers won't work with dual springs.

retainers will work on both sides and it's possible to make the exhaust dual spring.

you have the CTR exhaust valve springs? then they are identical to the ITR ones, except for the 2001 ITR's i believe. see if you use ITR exhaust and intake springs then all you have to do is get the intake side and you are all set. the CTR intake cam is a tad bit more agressive than the ITR so it would be alittle sitffer.
