Default Vafc Question

We have a V-AFC in our SOHC and I need to know what Nar low/high, and Wide low/high is. And if I change the VTEC point of engagement it kicks my rev limiter in at 55k. I have an S-AFC on my Eclipse...But I only have High and low settings. Please help!

Nar is narrow throttle fuel adjustments, when your only on the accelerator i believe 30%, you can adjust those also. Wide is wide open throttle adjustment. Don't mess with those unless your on a dyno with a wide band O2 or your engine might breathe its last breath on you. I don't know why your revlimiter would kick in that soon, unless your going into "safe" mode, but then you would have a CEL...

Yes I do get a CEL when ever this happens. And why is there a hi and low on low and high throttle? I also have b16 injectors on this y8 motor and an FPR, Cam Gears..So I am fully tunable. Thanks I'll get it to a dyno asap.

thats for high cam and low cam (high being vtec and low for not vtec ). The throttle crossover point can be changed also. The only need for that is to give you more optioins as far as drivability go i believe... I don't think it'll breathe its last breath... could be wrong . anyway, if your rev limiter is comming on at 55 i guess its a possibilty that you either a) have the wrong wire hooked up to the vtec input on the controller.. (i.e. tapped into fuel cut instead of vtec.), or b) have the controller set incorrectly for your vehicle. check the apexi website for the settings... i believe you want sensor types in and out of 06... not sure where the arrow should point. Hope that helps
