I had a vtec motor, b=now I don't. I added a turbo, now I need to know what settings should be on all the stuff that concerns vtec. Cross-over points, and which map if not both should I tune ?

IE:
High cam ,Low cam, full throttle, narrow throttle...

Right now I just set the cross over point to 7000roms ( the highest it will go ) and tuned the "low cam, WOT" and " low cam, narrow Throttle"...

Set-up is a d16, TD04L-13T, 450cc DSMs...

Any help would be great.
I'm not confused about how the AFC hack works, just need help getting around the "V" in the "V-AFC"..

 

homemadeturbo.com has a section on the v-afc hack. check them out. I got my settings from that website and my car runs excellent at 9 psi with hack without tunning.

 

Set the VTEC x-over wherever you normally would and tune from there. The wire is hooked up to nothing so ith works fine. Mine went something like:

Wow, that is not very close, I havn't even checked my settings in a couple months. That should explain it though.

I wrote about how to tune with the TPS input hack awhile ago. If you want to know how to do that let me know.
