VAFC problem

VAFC problem
I am running a Spoon ecu on my B16A and I just installed a vafc on the car and now the the car will not rev pass 8000 rpm its back to stock like when I have on a stock ecu. The vafc is not tune as yet so is there anything that could cause this problem
