Default VAFC for non-vtec??

I got a great deal on a VAFC but i have an LS integra, i can use it the same as an SAFC except that the vtec wire won't be installed right?? It should function the same right?? and where have you guys mounted yours??

yup itll work fine. i actually think its good to have a vafc period incase u ever go vtec. for people with non vtec ecu's..such as many woth z6's in EFs..u can use the afc to power vtec .

it functions just fine, except that you may need to adjust the fuel/air curves a little different. other than that, it works fine. i had my vtec wire from the VAFC hooked up to a little green light on my dash and when it would kick in, that little light would light up. i just thought that was kinda neat.

I think you could just set the vtec crossover higher than your redline, so that vafc won't start dumping extra fuel. That way you only have to tune 1 constant curve.

I think its a good idea to have it. You can use it as a NOS rpm switch too.
