Help VAFC Please!
Hi just installed my VAFC in my DC2 GSR. Note it is a used unit.
Went and initialised all the setting to reset the VAFC and then changed the Vtec In to 4500 and Vtec out to 4400rpm. But theres no Vtec until 7000rpm!
Huge power spike! yes and spins the 17s!
So the vtec wire is definitely connected. Yes the VTM wire is as well.
When i turn on the car i get the Vtec light flash once every time.
And yes flashes when in VTEC at 7000rpm. This LED light is wired in parallel
with the vtec light from VAFC, could it be not enough voltage to activate the LED and VTEC x-over until 7000rpm?
No CEL light after 2hours of driving to test unit working.
All other settings untouched. And all mesurements seem ok.
Throttle is 10% and 50%
What else do i need to set up this unit if any?
Please help me guys.
Please!

Did you change your settings in the ETC section? You need to change the car to 4 cylinder, and make sure the throttle arrow is pointing up.

I'm not positive but the extra pull on that circuit from the led might change the amount of voltage being sent to control the vtec crossover. Try unhooking the led and see what happens.

All fixed now. Stupid thing didn't initailise properly.
Just worked after i started driving the car. WooHooo..
Also at the moment with the initailised settings do i need to change them.
I only have I/H/E at the moment. Will dyno after engine rebuild.
