VAFC and MAP (CEL 3) Codes With Many Mods - Help?
OK, I am still learning and have VTEC up and all the connections double checked:
I have b18c built with 12.1 compression, 70 mm tb, intake , jdm 4:1 header, Toda B cams, port and polish head, etc.
have not run on air - fuel/dyno but seems to be starved for fuel top end with idle fuel press. at 47 lb
since so far i have only 240 cc injectors i tried to richen up the top end (ie 45% on the VAFC at 8k rpm) - this triggers a code which does not occur at only 12% enrichment
would it be normal to throw the MAP code at top end?
i know, got 320cc injectors to go in soon

You should increase the fuel pressure and bring down your fuel adjustment %'s on the vafc. This should help you across the whole rpm range because you have such high compression anyway. The computer will through a code after it has to correct past 15% to be happy with the o2. Try not to make such big changes on the vafc because it also affects your timing.
hmmm, sounds like the next move, but will my idle be a problem? funny how you can tell when a motor is on the edge of something really good powerwise and i think this is it
maybe try to bump the press about 5 psi to start and see what happens
i thought this might be the case but on the learning curve
