Default vafc 2 throwing a map code 3 ?

ok i just got my vafc 2 and i went to turn the fuel up and it threw a code 3 which is map sensor is this cause its wire wrong or is it cuz i am running too richen and need to turn the fuel down and also the cel only comes on when im accell to 7000 rpm and it comes on what can i do tto fix it

make sure you have the perameters set correctly in the vafc... then check your wiring. if you are adding too much fuel then that can cause the cel.

Make sure your sensor types are set to 6.

this is from adding too much fuel.....the vafc is telling the computer that the map signal is getting into an unacceptable range by the ecu's standards....you need to pull some fuel out there....then it will work fine, your wiring should be ok

edit: dont play around adding fuel without a wideband...you will wash down the cylinder walls and ruin your rings....
