Using a Skunk2 70mm TB before getting the Intake Manifold. Good idea, or no?

Using a Skunk2 70mm TB before getting the Intake Manifold. Good idea, or no?
I have a 93 b18a and I was wondering if I'm going to be wasting my time putting on a 70mm skunk2 tb on the stock manifold?....should I just wait to get the skunk2 manifold?

Yes, the opening of your I/M is around 60-63mm, so you are going to bottleneck there. If your motor is stock, you will likely lose power with a 70mm TB and Skunk2 Intake Manifold.

Yea it's all stock just swapped into a 88 ef hatch a few days ago..thank you but just wondering because somebody in my area is selling one in a package deal of plm headers and the TB for 120

Buy the package, sell the T/B and get the header for free. You will need forced induction to be truly able to utilize a 70mm T/B... you simply cannot throw enough parts at a non-vtec "B" series engine to require that kind of air flow.
