do u guys know how to wire this thing (want to use a obd-1 alternator) cuz for sure the wires aren't color coded and match up...he's using a obd-2 dx engine harness onto a obd-1 gsr swap...thanks in advance...

hMMm maybe becuz he doesn't want to buy an OBD-2 alternator when he can just rewire the plugs (it's becuz he have a obd-1 alternator)

That's kinda funny you said the colors don't match. I just finished one up. I might be wrong but the colors should be white/red - white/blue - black/yellow - white/green. I just matched the colors.

thats weird...i could've sworn when i did the opposite of going from obdI to obdII that it was the same color wires...just different size guage. the obdII wiring is a little bit thinner. I had both plugs and i just followed the square shape. The colors were close enough...I tried it like that and it worked out for me. It should be the same for you going backwards. hth
