i was curious as to the power gains running a ctr intake cam and a stock b16a2 exhaust cam. i found one for not a bad price and i'm wondering if it would be a noticable gain. i'm gonna be running 11.2:1 comp, p&p head, but stock tb and i.m. thumbup or save money for something better? also when buying a used cam w/ say 5000kms on it what are some things i should look for? thanks

 

I would think you would notice some definate power increases with LSVTEC. A couple of my friends run their CRVTEC motors with CTR cams and they think that they are the best OEM cam for the money. The CTR intake cam is everything. I can't give you a exact number of hp but you will definately notice the power increase with some tuning. Have fun
