Default Ctr Intake Cam

Im thinking about buying one for my 98 R. What do you guys think and what kind of numbers?

Just buying the CTR intake cam wont do too much for you. Its only slightly more aggressive than the intake cam you have now, assuming you still have the 98 ITR one.

I dont think its worth the hassle or the bit extra power it may give you.

If you want to improve power then go with something more aggressive. The CTR/ITR cams are basically the same camshaft (nothing noticable in power difference). So i'd say go with a more aggressive cam if you really want power. And save up your money instead of getting the CTR intake cam.

not worth it, just stick with the 98 spec cams, the ctr intake cam only has 3 more duration, and yea, 3 more is still something, but nothing to crazy.

what would teh gains be? i def dont wanna change my cams to aftermarkets so i figured this woudl be teh best bet
