Upper and lower Radiator hose
I'm having an overheating problem. The upper and lower radiator hose is hot and has a lot of pressure. So i'm thinking it's not the Thermostat. The resevior tank is overflowing. ALso when i'm at idle the car temp raises and when i'm driving at a constant speed it will go to normal. Also my radiator fan is working. I'm thinking it's the radiator fan. What do you guys think it is.
If the temp goes to normal when you've moving, but rises when you're stopped that would indicate it is a problem with the fan like you said.
Does the fan cut on at all?
If not, you can short the connector in the fusebox in the engine bay and see if the fan motor is shot, or if it's something else.
If you have A/C you can turn that on and you'll have one of the fans running to help out until you get it fixed.
Edit: Oh and if the fan itself works, but it just doesn't turn on when the engine is hot, it's probably a problem with your thermo-time switch.
In my old 3rd gen Prelude it was located near the bottom radiator hose.

Thanks guys but I THink i just need to flush my whole cooling system because it looks dirty. The fan seems to working fine. F it I think i'll just swap out the engine. IT's gonna be an auto DOHC ZC. I hope it works. I'm not looking for speed as of right now.
