Default Updat, Update, Update

i recently did another swap in a 4door 6th gen, finished it, lowered in on the ground and drove out to the road. as soon as i turned out of my driveway to the road it started clunking and i could feel it in the steering wheel and floorboard.
i replaced the axles, torqued all the nuts on the ball joints, luguts, axles nuts today and drove it again........ahh to my wonderful surprise it still makes this clunk.

only when i turn left or right, in a straight line it makes no noise and there is no vibration. no clunk when i accel or decel, just turning.. and it doesn't matter if i'm turning from a stand still or make a turn off the road while driving. has anyone ever had this problem.

it's a B16A with a Y21 LSD tranny...if that helps

i was just wondering if there is any possible way that you can not get the ball joints seated all the way even after torquing them?

thanks in advanced

well i finally fixed the problem, it was the LSD i do not know much about LSDs that HONDA uses ( i know something about clutch types) so i am kinda confused about how this fixed the problem. i actually was talking to a SUBARU guru, and he told me that he had the same problem in his WRX and that it was caused from the LSDs engagment. So he recommended a LSD additive from GMC, comes in a 4oz bottle.

IT WORKED!!!!

no more popping, grinding, clunking or any other type of noise and the gears feels alot more silky now.

just thought i would share my expeirence

that's pretty cool.

with Honda LSD's just prop up the front of the car and turn one wheel. the other wheel should turn the opposite direction if the LSD is working right.

there is no special fluid required for these other than Honda MTF.

I should also add I had a big clunking noise...turned out to be the lug weren't tightened down enough.
