Default Unusual TPS problem (looking for flowchart)

I have a 92 CX hatch with a 3rd gen (OBDI/MPFI) DOHC ZC in it.

I parked it with a blown HG about a year ago. Just got to it last month. Got it finished and all is well except I'm throwing a mysterious TPS code 7 now.

The only thing that was changed besides the HG was the O2 sensor, swapped the stock header for a ported ebay 4-2-1 jank, and put in a working thermostat.

When the car is cold it runs perfect. When it warms up it stumbles after closing the throttle. Threw a code 7 last week. I threw a new Omni TPS at it thinking it had somehow coroded from sitting unplugged for 8 months. I have the new TPS installed and calibrated. It's still throwing a code 7 and stumbling when warm after closing the throttle.

Steps taken so far:
Checked for 5V at yellow wire with ground to chassis (5V exactly)
Checked for 5V at yellow wire with ground to green wire (4.96V)
Cleaned the throttle body and the FITV

I'm shooting in the dark at this point and would really like to see a MPFI Control System TPS Troubleshooting flowchart.

ALSO where are all the engine grounds supposed to be on this motor. I have the trans ground and the ground to the head by the VC but feel like there's supposed to be at least one more.

Any other help is also much appreciated. I'm waiting on a set of fluke back probes for my DMM as the pins I've been using to calibrate SUCK and the OE probes are too big.

if you have 5 volts to the sensor. Check the return side at the plug. if good, check continuity to ecu. if good replace ecu

This is what I'm starting to think...

Thanks for the help guys, appreciate the charts. I'll crack down on it tomorrow morning when I got some time off work.

Buy a t-pin and backprobe at the sensor. Nobody has test harnesses so you can't do the same exact testing there. Remember you will have 5v(or approximately that) on one, the signal wire is normally the middle wire and will have between .5(butterfly closed) and 4.5(butterfly open), and the other one will be ground. You should be more concerned with the signal wire than the other two.

You need to calibrate it. You don't just hook it up and it magically works, you need to turn it so that closed is .5volts on the signal wire. Just loosen the two screws and tighten them back down when you get that mark. Then check again. If it moved redo it.

Read before assuming I'm just another tool.

I'm beginning to think it's an intermittant loose wire or short. If I mess with the harness while testing I get varying readings. I'm gonna have to trace the bay harness from the plug back for continuity.

Open ground causing 5 volts or signal wire **** to power or faulty potentiometer or bad ecu.

Ended up being a signal wire that was holding on by 2 or 3 strands of copper. It finally broke and I soldered a new plug on.I'm GTG ever since. Thanks for the suggestions H-T.
