tps code under load
I purchased a prof. products 68mm tb for my slightly built gsr and ever since under heavy loads in second and third gear my cel will come on and when i jump the connector it flashes 7 short times which means TPS malfunction. could it be when i reinstalled the tps in the new tb that i didn't clock it correctly, i didn't use a multimeter to check resistance should i do that. i don't know the operating range thourgh.
its really easy to adjust.
you need to loosen the screws on the back (might have to cut slits to loosen them)
then use a voltometer and attach the positive to the middle wire (red wire)
and the ground to a ground. Turn the tps until it reads .45v closed throttle and 4.55 wide open throttle.
