I think what you need to look at is the a/r ratio and what is going to be best for your application...is you b-series stock? If your looking to do a gorillia turbo on the cheap you may not have alot of choices when it comes to sizing you'll have to research OEM specs on things like the Eclipse GSX, if your planning on running an eclipse turbo there are a few things you should know, first off there are a few turbos that mitsubishi used in these cars I believe both are water and oil cooled so you'll also need to keep in mind that you'll have some extra lines to run. Don't let that scare you though you have a coolant line that runs in the intake manifold throttle body area, depending on your car. you can route that to the turbo and take advantage of the extra cooling from the dual cooling systems on an OEM turbo. My suggestion is that if you plan to run an OEM turbo check to see what their internal wastegates are set at!!. You don't want to going bolting up an eclipse turbo to a B-series, because the Eclipse runs stock at about 11-13 psi which is to much for you stock compression. Also you can utilize some eclipse Injectors if you want, they are rated at 450cc's but you may have to use a resistor box if your a 92 or newer honda. You can pick up these turbos used really cheap. I got one for $35 bucks off of ebay in fair condition. BUT YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! The best advice is you can have two of the three of these choices: Fast,Cheap or reliable. If its fast and reliable, its not cheap. Your wallet is directly proportional to the size of your wallet. Thats not to say that things can't be done on a budget, Take some time and research what you are doing. The internet is very powerful tool. You'll also find that tuning is a very important part. Even the stoutest engine can go postal if not properly tuned. If you want some good turbo specs go to Turbosbygarret.com they have alot of helpful information. Also tell us what your engine set up is and the proper sizing can be suggested from there.

T3 turbo from the saab is a really good turbo for a d16. I also think a t3 is less headache than a 14b or t25 turbo. T3 FTW!

Google seach Honda Tuning "budget boost" for a great article on a D-series turbo. I think their set up neted 167whp with 6psi and eventually 204whp with more boost using the mitsu turbo
